Christmas Day....

Before I tell of our Christmas, I want to read the card that my Grandpa Webb, 88 years old sent all of his kids and grandkids and let you feel the feeling each one of us had when we read this....There's no better present at Christmas than knowing why Christ came to earth. There's no sweeter song than the one Angels sang when they told of his wonderful birth. There's no greater balm for the spirit than the peace Jesus sends from above...and nothing more lovely to decorate hearts than the beautiful light of his love.

The kids woke up around 8:30am and had to wait till Chelsi and Mom could get out of bed...=) The first thing they saw was there stockings....and Maeleigh and Wesley came running to my room to tell me, "Santa came"....
When we got downstairs where the Christmas tree was, Wesley couldn't stop saying, "Oh Mom, Santa really got my bike"....He was sooo excited! He also got a helmet, spiderman slippers, socks, underwear, yoyo, the movie "Kung Fu Panda". He was sooo happy about everything
Maeleigh was also sooo excited for her bike. She got a helmet, Dora slippers, socks, yoyo and "Dr. Seuss Horton Hears a Who!"
Chelsi got a little Tricycle....she's got to be just like her Brother and Sister! She also got froggie slippers, socks and fun baby shampoo (I know)!!!
And the final gift that was for all of them was "Hungry Hungry Hippo".....they had to play it tonight before bed. It was a lot of fun!
They are loving there slippers!!!!
Around noon we headed over to Mom (Aunt Kathy's) house and the kids got to open presents while there Papa (Uncle John) got to put Chelsi's tri-cycle and Wesley's bike seat together.
Wesley got Power Rangers....
Maeleigh got Snow White dress up......
Chelsi got this color and shape toy.....
It was funny Wesley was playing with Chelsi's toy forever or riding Chelsi's Tri-cycle, Maeleigh was playing with Wesley's Power Rangers, while dressed up like Snow White and Chelsi was asleep! It was funny....
We stayed there all afternoon and evening and a lot of the other kids showed up. It was a very enjoyable Christmas and We hope all of you had a Merry Christmas too.... We tried taking one last family picture before we left but I think I waited too long...kids were tired and cranky! We love y'all!

It looks like the children had a wonderful Christmas and that Santa was very good to them. Thank you for sharing the beautiful poem, too. You always bring so much joy and happiness to those you come in contact with.
