The Phoenix Zoo 04/04/2008

YEAH, we had made it to the Phoenix Zoo. The kids where so excited they couldn't stand pictures anymore. They just wanted to go inside, but of course you got someone like me that wanted memories! I really appreciate Quinae's friendship. We sure had a good time!

Thanks Quinae! j/k. We kind of went a long rought to see some animals and came across this beautiful cactus. Quinae had to stop and take a picture of it (note: Quinae is from Seattle, WA and is here untill Wed. So, cactuses must be really cool!) The kids were also eager to check the cactus out too. We warned the kids not to touch the cactus but of course Maeleigh "my obedient child" didn't listen. She got all these little thorns on both hands. Luckly with the help of nurse Quinae's long finger nails, a pair of tweezers and Elmers glue the problem was solved. Oh wait, Maeleigh had to tell everyone she talked to that she saw the zoo doctor!

From the start, all Wesley wanted to see where the Zebras. So here we are and he was so excited.

Maeleigh and Soaren seemed to be buddies. He was taking care of her after her dramatic incident!

Alexander and Chelsi sure look cut together. Alexander was such a tease to Chelsi (taking her carrot) that we finally had to seperate the two.

Wesley, was so nice to the goats untill he decided to chase one (while holding with all his might) the goats tail!

Maeleigh, chased those goats around and around and around. I bet the goats were excited when we left!

Chelsi, was so excited and determined to see the goats I was just waiting for her to take her first steps!

This goat seemed to have the HOTS for Quinae! She had her back pocket filled with the zoo map, money and her credit card and this goat seemed interested in it. He/She grabbed the map once, even ate some of it and came back again. Quinae sure taught the stinker a lesson!

This kids were so excited to sit on the tractor. It reminded them of Grandpa and Grammy's blue tractor. Wesley and Soarin sure wanted it to GO!

This Beautiful Turkey sure looks yummy. It makes me want to go turkey hunting. Did you know that turkeys snort! Well, this one sure did.

Looks like you had a lot a fun at the zoo. Love the pictures! It is crazy to think that looking at animals is so entertaining for kids. This is probably the best time of year to go in Arizona. Pretty soon it will be to hot. Call me when you have a free moment.
